Amanda Bynes Dyes Her Hair Purple: See Her Twitter Photo

 

No more blonde Bynes! Amanda Bynes traded in her famous blonde locks for a more colorful purple 'do on Friday, Nov. 7. The former child star showed off the drastic change via Twitter.

"I dyed my hair violet," Bynes, 28, captioned with an emoji smiley face. "I'm not sure if I like it, and this is a blurry pic but here it is!"

Bynes visited Nine Zero One Salon in L.A. for the transformation, and clearly seemed pleased with the result. She later stepped out wearing colorful green sunglasses and covered her mouth with a pack of cigarettes.

 

Bynes' tweet follows a string of unsettling claims this past month. Since being released from her treatment facility in Pasadena, Calif. late last month, the actress has tweeted that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and accused her father, Rick Bynes, of sexually abusing her. On Nov. 4, she wrote that her friends were tweeting from her phone, but didn't clarify which comments she was referring to.
