Harry Potter Spits Fire: Watch Daniel Radcliffe Rap ‘Alphabet Aerobics’ by Blackalicious

We never thought the words “Daniel Radcliffe rap” would be used together, much less in praise. But Harry Potter utterly kills this track on The Tonight Show.

 

Daniel Radcliffe, the once and always Harry Potter, has some serious rhymespitter skills. The actor visited Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Tuesday evening and revealed that he’s always had an “obsession” with memorizing tricky rap songs, including Blackalicious’ “Alphabet Aerobics.” So, naturally, Jimmy Fallon presented a microphone and set the stage for Radcliffe to shine.

“Alphabet Aerobics” is a fast-paced song filled with tongue twisters, but Daniel utterly nailed the performance, despite some serious tempo acceleration through the track. The pace is frantic by the time he gets to ’S,’  but Harry Potter keeps it locked down through the entire song, without missing a word. The standing ovation is more than deserved.
