Filled Under: Entertainment, Life
RIP push-up bras.
It’s not every day you get the chance to take bigger breasts for a spin, but thanks to board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe, you can now get temporary enhancements that last just one day–without surgery.
It works like this: his “Insta Breast” saline injection “gives the impression of implants for 24 hours,” which he says is “perfect for a special occasion–such as a wedding or vacation–but also give women a better opportunity to see what living with larger breasts is really like.”
The procedure only takes 20 minutes–a.k.a it can be done during your lunch break–but costs anywhere between $2,500 to $3,500. Yowza. But, um, is this stuff safe? Also, where does it all go?
Dr. Norman Rowe says the saline gets absorbed by the body, and the risks include infection, nerve damage, or broken blood vessels.
Dr. Rowe is currently working on a method that could last up to three weeks, according to ABC News. He hopes his “vacation breasts” will be ready to use in about two years. “Twenty-four hours is great, but it’s still just 24 hours.” Uh oh. Watch yo back, push-up bras.
