Last month, the band uploaded video footage from the studio, which saw a camera scan a screen appearing to reveal the title of their forthcoming seventh album.
Muse have now uploaded pictures to Instagram featuring magazine spreads of themselves with their eyes blacked out and the text scribbled over, along with the tag "#MuseDrones".
The band are yet to reveal an official release date for the new record, however frontman Matt Bellamy has said it will be "a bit of a rawer album and a bit more rock".
"Deep ecology, the empathy gap and World War 3" have been named among Muse's influences for the album.
Muse's last album The 2nd Law was released back in 2012, reaching number one in the UK and number two in the US.
