Arctic Monkeys are an English indie rock band formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield. The band has sold over 22.9m album copies worldwide. The band consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jamie Cook (lead guitar, backing vocals), Nick O'Malley (bass, backing vocals), and Matt Helders (drums, backing vocals). Former band member Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) left the band in 2006 shortly after its debut album was released.

Favourite Worst Nightmare is the second studio album by the English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys that was first released in Japan on 18 April 2007 before being released around the world.
